HIND management has been managing all of properties under the Sudima Hotels franchise for over 10 years. Sudesh started his business career in Hong Kong, working for Sudima Group’s design and OEM watch company. In 2001, he moved to New Zealand to look after the group’s property portfolio. At this stage, he bought the group’s first hotel and started on the journey to create HIND management and Sudima Hotels.
Now, Sudesh is well regarded in the hotel and tourism industry in New Zealand. He is seen as one of the industry leaders and is invited to speak on many panels and judge business competitions. Sudesh is also a proud member of Be. Accessible’s Fab 50 in recognition for his work in making Sudima Hotels accessible.
Sudesh attended the prestigious University of Southern California where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organisation.
Director of Hotels
Having over 20 years hotel experience, Les is a well respected figure in the industry. He has spoken at a myriad of industry related events and held numerous board positions throughout New Zealand. He started his career as a night auditor and has worked his way up into upper management. Prior to joining HIND management, Les had worked for numerous international brands such as Accor and Starwood. In 2014, Les was awarded the Westpac Excellence in Business Leadership award.
Group Financial Controller
With over 25 years experience in hotel finance, Michael provides a wealth of industry specific knowledge crucial for accurate forecasting and reporting. Michael has completed a Post Graduate Diploma from the University of Auckland in Business Administration and studied Financial & Management Accounting from the American Hotel Association.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Michel has worked in hotel sales and marketing for over 20 years. He understands the ever changing market, and knows how to sell hotels to all different market segments. In his role, he oversees all sales and marketing strategy and execution.
Director of Human Resources
Phillipa has over 15 years experience in the tourism industry internationally, including big name brands. Prior to working in Human Resources, Phillipa worked in the reservations and functions departments. Phillipa works hard to recruit and retain the right staff. Staff welfare is her utmost concern. She has received an Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Business from New Zealand School of Travel and Tourism as well as a CIPD certificate in Human Resources Practice – Level 3. Additionally, Phillipa is a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand.
Hotel Development Executive
Vedika has been passionate about hotels since she was young. To further this passion she attended the prestigious University of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Communication Design. She has had experience in the tourism industry both in New Zealand and the U.K.
Project Manager & Hotel Development Executive
With over ten years experience, Anna was primarily established in hotel reservations and yield management. She has since moved into hotel development and project management. Her prior experiences include hotel pre-openings and management of a major hotel system change. Anna received an Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management from Pacific International Hotel Management School.
