Hind Management's leadership team brings together deep expertise across hotel operations, commercial management, finance, marketing and sustainability. As a family-owned business, we attract and retain career hoteliers who share our values - people who take genuine pride in the properties they manage and the communities they serve.

Sudesh Jhunjhnuwala

Founder and Chief Executive

Sudesh founded Hind Management in 2000 with a vision to build a New Zealand hotel company grounded in family values, operational excellence and long-term commitment. Over 25 years, he has grown the business from a single property to a portfolio of eight hotels spanning five locations, $450M+ in owned and managed assets and over 650 employees. Recognised with the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business and the community, Sudesh leads with a genuine owner’s perspective, combining commercial rigour with a deep commitment to the people and places Hind calls home.

Les Morgan

Chief Operating Officer

Responsible for end-to-end operational performance across the portfolio, Les brings over 30 years of experience in global hotel and tourism operations, including international luxury hotel management. He has been with Hind Management since 2011 and leads the day-to-day performance and owner relationships across all properties.

Michel Adolphe

Chief Commercial Officer

Michel leads revenue management, sales and distribution across the portfolio, driving commercial performance and sustained demand across all key segments and source markets. With over 30 years of experience including international brand roles at Park Hyatt Sydney, Michel has been with Hind Management since 2007.

Helem Wayson

Chief Financial Officer

Helen oversees financial management, reporting and governance across the group - ensuring strong fiscal discipline, transparency and full P&L accountability across all properties. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is an associate member of CPA Australia. 

Kanika Jhunjhnuwala

Chief Strategy & Sustainable Growth Officer

Kanika drives the group’s strategic direction and sustainability agenda, overseeing long-term growth, iwi partnerships, community engagement and Hind’s commitment to responsible, values-led business. Since joining in 2019, she has played a central role in shaping portfolio strategy and leading the achievement of Toitū Carbon Reduce certification across the Sudima portfolio. Kanika holds qualifications in physics and environmental engineering with academic experience in environmental economics.

Nicola Lynch

Chief Marketing Officer

Nicola leads brand strategy, marketing and communications across Hind Management and Sudima Hotels, building the reputation and visibility of the group across New Zealand and key international markets. She brings senior leadership experience from Lloyds TSB, Vitality, nib NZ and Spark NZ, with qualifications in International Business and Marketing.
